1. Unfortunately … college students in conventional medical schools (MD Oncologists) and in post-grad internships are not taught anything about nutrition or natural therapies for cancer that have proven themselves for decades. They're taught pharmaceutical drugs, surgery and radiation.
If a medical doctor is interested in nutrition to fight cancer. That takes additional years of education, training and experience. They can't be expected to become experts in two health care fields. So, they stick to what they are originally taught.
2. Fear … you may be surprised to find out but they couldn't even if they wanted to. The small percentage of MDs who do know the value of nutrition in fighting cancer sincerely wish they could. But they put themselves and their clinics/hospitals at great legal and professional risk unless they use radiation, surgery and drugs.
Medical politics at the state and federal level dictates what therapies doctors can use - NOT your doctor's judgment as to what is best for you. Also, in medical lawsuits, well-meaning but misinformed juries rule against doctors unless they've used conventional treatments.
